The Disney Wonder is one of the classic ships, launched in 1999. It was the second ship to join Disney’s fleet. The ship has always been a favorite for families exploring the Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, and passages through the Panama Canal.

I was thrilled to sail aboard the Disney Wonder last month since the ship just returned from a major refurbishment. The updates are remarkable as she sparkles with even more MAGIC!  There has been a transformation of an existing restaurant into Tiana’s Place, an electric dining experience pulled straight out of Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.”  Guests are entertained by live jazz musicians, Louis the alligator, and Tiana herself while enjoying a specially themed dinner.  So much fun, I could have dined there every night!  Fortunately, I also got to experience the other two newly designed restaurants, Animators Palate and Tritons. Disney once again brings stories to life!

The Disney Wonder now features it’s own theater production “Frozen, a Musical Spectacular”. The beautiful staging and incredible talent will take your breath away!  The show is featured once each sailing as well as other great shows. Let’s not forget Disney’s swashbuckling evening, Pirate Night!

This time, I chose to experience a 1-bedroom suite with concierge service. The new concierge lounge was beautiful and offers guests true convenience and comfort. A special Disney character meet & greet, delicious food servings throughout the day, private sun deck, and hands-on assistance from the concierge team. The gorgeous suite was spacious with a fabulous panoramic view of the ocean, 2 large bathrooms, plush bedding. I will never be the same again!

The Disney Wonder brings together high quality service, new experiences, and the Magic of Disney.  The best family vacation that makes new memories that will be special for everyone!
